MASCHIO GASPARDO, an international leader in the design and manufacture of agricultural equipment, has opened its first Full Line Store in North America, in Elburn, Illinois, in partnership with Roc-Pit Equipment LLC. The store is the fifth Full Line Store in the Group’s global network, following earlier openings in León (Spain), Voklo-Senčur (Slovenia), Mortara and Alife (Italy). MASCHIO GASPARDO has been present in the United States since the 1980s, and since 2004 through MASCHIO GASPARDO North America Inc., headquartered in DeWitt, Iowa.
A New Partnership Model for American Farmers
The Full Line Store introduces a new distribution model for agricultural implements — one that only a true full-line manufacturer can offer. It is an exclusively mono-brand dealership designed to give farmers access to the complete MASCHIO GASPARDO range across every stage of the agronomic cycle: tillage, seeding, fertilization, crop protection, green maintenance, and haymaking. Specialized advice, product training, genuine spare parts, and a fully equipped service workshop are all brought together under one roof, supported by a team with deep knowledge of MASCHIO GASPARDO products, ready to assist at every stage of farming operations.
This approach represents a meaningful evolution in the agricultural equipment sector. Multi-brand distribution has long been the dominant model, but the Full Line Store gives farmers a more complete, integrated experience — combining product expertise, technical support, and aftersales service within a single dedicated space. It is a model that works precisely because MASCHIO GASPARDO covers every phase of the agronomic cycle: the breadth of the range is what gives the format its value.
This model was discussed in an “alternative distribution” roundtable last week at the Ag Equipment Intelligence Executive Summit. Additional feature article coverage will be forthcoming in Farm Equipment.
Elburn, Illinois: A Real Commitment in the Corn Belt
Elburn was not a random choice. The American Corn Belt is one of the most productive agricultural regions in the world. Large farming operations here work within extremely tight seasonal windows and depend on reliable equipment, readily available parts, and fast support from knowledgeable technicians. This is the environment in which MASCHIO GASPARDO has chosen to deepen its presence in North America, moving closer to farmers and to the operational realities of the Midwest.
Roc-Pit Equipment LLC: A Partner Built for This Model
The Elburn Full Line Store operates in full partnership with Roc-Pit Equipment LLC, founded in 2020 by Dale Pitstick. From day one, Roc-Pit chose to operate as a MASCHIO GASPARDO dealership, building its business around a single-brand commitment and a model grounded in deep product knowledge and long-term customer relationships across Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Iowa, and the broader Midwest.
The opening ceremony was hosted by Max Armstrong, one of America's most recognized agricultural broadcasters, and attended by Elburn Mayor Jeffrey D. Walter — whose presence underscored the significance of the investment for the local community.
The Facility
The Elburn location is a modern, purpose-built facility designed to serve professional farming operations. It spans approximately 18,300 square feet of covered space across showroom, parts, service, storage, and office areas. Seven full-time specialists staff the store, providing comprehensive support across sales, parts, aftersales service, and administration. Dedicated areas for consultation and training ensure that every visit — whether for a purchase, a service appointment, or a product demonstration — is professional, productive experience tailored to the farmer’s needs.
An Event Preview: The New High-Speed Precision Planter for North America
During the opening ceremony, guests received an exclusive preview of a project currently in development. Through the joint venture with LYNX AG — an American company specializing in large-format strip-till equipment — MASCHIO GASPARDO is developing a new high-speed, large-format precision planter, designed and manufactured in the United States for the operational conditions of the North American market.
Initial prototypes are already undergoing field testing in the Midwest. Roc-Pit Equipment is an active development partner in the process: Dale Pitstick has made his approximately 5,400-acre farming operation available for in-field machine testing and is contributing directly to the machine’s development and fine-tuning. The project brings together Italian and American engineers, agronomists, and designers. European precision seeding technology, combined with American agronomic expertise.
A preview of the machine will be on display at the Farm Progress Show in Boone, Iowa, in September 2026.
Statements
“This store opens a new era of direct partnership with American farmers. The United States is one of the most important agricultural markets in the world, and this is MASCHIO GASPARDO’s commitment to being present not just commercially, but as a genuine, long-term partner for every farmer working these fields.” — Mirco Maschio, Chairman, MASCHIO GASPARDO S.p.A.
“The Full Line Store model reflects the Group’s conviction that technology and aftersales support must go hand in hand — a machine without the support structure behind it is only half the answer. In Elburn, farmers will find both.” — Andrea Maschio, Chairman, Maschio Holding S.p.A.
“The United States is a key market in the Group’s 2026–2030 growth strategy. The Full Line Store reflects our long-term commitment to American agriculture and our determination to build an increasingly strong presence in North America.” — Luigi De Puppi, Chief Executive Officer, MASCHIO GASPARDO S.p.A.
“From the beginning, I chose to build Roc-Pit around a single brand: MASCHIO GASPARDO. Corn Belt farmers can’t afford downtime. They need equipment, parts, and support they can count on every season. This store was built to deliver exactly that — with a team that knows the machines and understands how our customers work.” — Dale Pitstick, Founder, Roc-Pit Equipment LLC
