The Salford Precision Row Crop Cultivator performs a full suite of duties for an organic operation, saving on the cost of owning multiple machines. It is engineered to operate up to 12 mph, more than two times faster than most other row crop cultivators. The extra speed saves operations a lot of time on their row crop cultivator passes.
20 inches of lateral travel helps the achieve precise alignment with rows using the camera or wand guidance. Operators can fine tune the position from the in cab display. The side shift system is a standard feature integrated into the mainframe. No other kits are needed.
Row units can lift automatically, from the outside to the inside, to avoid headland rows, point rows or ground that is already worked to reduce crop damage and improve yields.
Each row unit is equipped with two 8 inch side sweeps mounted on a spring tine for enhanced tillage action and obstacle protection. The tines can be adjusted horizontally for a working width between 20 and 26 inches.
