In light of the COVID-19 crisis, there may be some concern among farmers and dealers over parts supply chain interruptions. A Farm Equipment poll asked dealers whether they had increased parts inventories within the last month for this reason. Of those who responded, 61% said they had not increased their parts inventories, while 39% said yes that had.

In a similar poll, No-Till Farmer, a sister publication of Farm Equipment, asked growers what impact they expect the coronavirus pandemic will have on their farm management and operational goals this spring. More than half (55%) said they expect delays or limited access to farm equipment, parts and timely service from equipment dealerships will lead to down time.
