The PL5800 Planters from Great Plains are designed to provide farmers with precise planting capabilities and excellent seed-to-soil contact. They are efficient to operate and available in single- or twin-row configurations with row spacing between 15 and 36 inches. The WSMT3 control system simplifies and improves operator interfaces, while an optional advanced diagnostic system assists troubleshooting when needed most.

A new seed delivery system, innovative dual-fan air system and larger seed pool reservoirs and inlet openings allow the PL5800 planters to successfully handle a large variety of seeds. Closing wheel mounts have been redesigned to achieve superior seed-to-soil contact and closing accuracy.
