Fastline Media Group has promoted Pat Higgins from vice president of sales to president and hired Jeff Rushton as vice president of marketing.

In his role as president, Higgins is expected to develop more digital, media and traditional marketing products. “I'm excited about what the future brings for Fastline and those who will leverage our solutions to improve their businesses and their lives,” says Higgins.

Higgins has over 20 years of sales and management experience, most recently for Victory Packaging, as senior vice president of U.S. sales overseeing a sales organization which generated over $1.5 billion in annual revenue, according to the company press release. Over the last two years at Fastline, Higgins has helped build and develop the sales team, restructure the company to better serve their customers and improve operations and is helping build new products and solutions, like the i3 Digital Agency, a full-service digital agency supporting the Ag industry.

Jeff Rushton’s role as vice president of marketing will involve building and growing the company’s digital products and print catalog business. “Over the last few years we have seen tremendous success providing email, digital and data-driven solutions, on top of our already successful magazine and print solutions. We are anxious to build upon our momentum and look forward to Mr. Rushton's data, digital and national marketing background to take us there,” says Bill Howard, founder and CEO of Fastline.

Rushton joins the Fastline Media Group team from Kentucky Marketing Consulting, where he provided marketing, start up and business intelligence consulting for companies like RooClick.com, the Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana and Fastline. Prior to consulting, Rushton spent seven years as the Director of Digital Media at the University of Louisville and several years managing digital for national brands and running eight different tech startups.
