Koyker Manufacturing, a division of Sioux Steel Co., Lennox, S.D., unveiled at the 2010 National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville that it's entering the flexible grain storage market with its Model 1050 Grain Bagger.

According to literature available at the show, the Model 1050 "has the largest auger on the market while providing an ultra high flow rate."

Specifications include:

* High capacity 8 x 8-foot detachable overhead fill hopper with grain splash sides

*20-inch diameter dynamically balanced discharge auger.

*10.5-foot diameter x 9-mil. thick, high-strength plastic farm storage bags

*12.6-L16.5 12-ply NHS traction tires

*Large 0.75-inch elastic rope bag tensioning system with spring release safety hooks

*Easily adjustable hydraulic brake manifold with pressure gauge.

Additional features of the alternative grain storage system include:

*Anti-slip walkways

*High-pressure disk brakes

*Roller thrust bearing

*Side-shields and bag tray

*Hydraulic lift system

*Grain sealing between the bag and machine

*8,000-pound trailer axle with heavy-duty 8 wheel hubs

*Tubular-welded side shields

Manufactured in South Dakota, the grain bagger is ready for shipment now, with a grain unloading unit scheduled to be released by Koyker in time for the fall season.
