Tommy Jones directs sales and marketing for Precision Risk Management (PRM), a crop insurance company based in Sioux Falls, S.D. PRM’s focus is to automate the flow of electronic field data from the machine to the crop insurance policy to simplify acreage and production reporting and reduce errors.
Jones has over 35 years in agriculture, starting an ag loan officer during the farm crisis of the 80s. He spent 28 years at John Deere in various sales and marketing roles starting as a field sales representative and later regional sales manager for Farm Plan (John Deere Multi-Use Account). Jones’ last role at John Deere was National Sales Manager for Deere’s crop insurance division. Following Deere, Jones served as president & CEO of Krone North America with responsibility for all sales, parts and services functions for North America.
