Earlier this week John Deere announced it was looking for a chief tractor officer — “a witty and charismatic content creator ready to help the iconic American brand celebrate farmers, contractors, groundskeepers, and brand fans.” Based on this video, there’s some steep competition for the job. The Farm Equipment editors are backing Tariq the Corn Kid.

SkillsUSA competitions have been taking place across the country in recent weeks. SkillsUSA’s goal is to prepare students for careers in the trades and grow the workforce.
