Farm Equipment Editors Providing Updates of Trip to Palouse for 2010 Wheat Harvest

Lessiter Publications editors Frank (No-Till Farmer) and Mike Lessiter (Farm Equipment) fly this Wednesday to the Palouse region of Southeastern Washington and North Central Idaho for 6 days observing the wheat harvest in this unique and major agricultural area.

Using Twitter (www.twitter.com/FEeditors and www.twitter.com/NoTillFarmr), the two editors plan to share conversations and photos of their many visits with farmers (including shots from the combine overlooking the steep and breathtaking hills — see photo below by Tom Munson), manufacturers and dealers.

Mike Lessiter, a second-generation ag journalist, has been Editor/Publisher of Farm Equipment since 2004. He has covered business-to-business operations, manufacturing, and marketing topics since 1992 and has held various roles with the Farm Equipment Manufacturers Assn. and the Assn. of Equipment Manufacturers. Mike is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison and was named president of Lessiter Media in 2007.
