Cumulative Price Change in Farm Production Expenses Since 2013

Since 2013, farmers have seen nearly all production expenses increase. The largest increase at 59% is in marketing, storage and transportation expenses. Overall, the intermediate expense category, which includes the majority of the farm production inputs, has increased 18% since 2013. Source: USDA IRS Farm Income and Wealth
