Ag-Bag showed its new G6170 Pull-Type bagger at the Wisconsin Public Service Farm Show in Oshkosh, Wis., and touted the machine’s advanced design and engineering.

The bagger’s tough and rugged design ensures improved overall bagging performance, the company says.

The G6170’s low-position, 7-foot rotor ensures even compaction in the bag. The new rotor design is approximately 30% stronger than the previous design, providing even greater performance reliability.

The G6170 also features an all-new heavy-duty gear box and drive assembly. The newly designed jack shaft between the drive sprocket and the gearbox ensures greater reliability in the driveline system.

The heavy duty Comer gearbox is rated at 540 rpm, with a rated input power of 170 horsepower.
