Earlier this year, Ag Equipment Intelligence surveyed farm equipment dealers asking for the ages of their owners/principals, and the likelihood they would consider selling their dealership in the next 3-5 years. The results of this survey, which we believe would be similar amongst shortline equipment manufacturers, serve as a perfect segue to this webinar, “How to Increase the Value and Marketability of Your Business Before an Eventual Sale.”

What we found was that of those who responded, 46% had owners/principals that were 61+ years of age and 41% would considering selling their business in the next 3-5 years.  It’s clear that for many, the process of transitioning ownership of their company, in one way or another, has already begun. Regardless of what step of the process they are at, it’s not too late to increase the value of the business when handled properly.
