New Study Reveals Benefits, Opportunities in No-Till Farming

A just-completed benchmarking study conducted by magazine No-Till Farmer provides interesting insight into growers that practice no-till farming.

Along with a wide range of demographical information, the study delves into the practices and equipment use of no-till farmers, and reveals the benefits growers are realizing by employing this technique.

Precision-agriculture use among no-till farmers responding to the magazine's survey was led by use of lightbar guidance (34.2%), field mapping (32.6%), yield monitor data analysis (31.7%), GPS-driven automatic steering (29.9%), and variable-rate fertilization (20.2%).
