Record-Breaking Horsch Maestro
Shown at Farm Progress Show 2012
Luke Thornton, sales manager at Horsch North America, talks about the new Horsch Maestro seeder that will be available in the North American market in 2013. In April 2012, Horsch and Claas teamed up to breaking the record for corn planting. The pair of a XERION 5000 and a Maestro 24.70 SW single-grain seed drill tilled and fertilized 1107 acres in a 24 hour period.
The Maestro is one of several product development steps Horsch North America is taking to continue to diversify their product offering. Thornton also discusses some of the other new products you can expect from Horsch in the coming years.

Duane,
Thanks for pointing out that important omission. We have updated the video description to explain the record. In a 24 hour period, the Maestro planted about 1,100 acres.
