Agriculture Tabs New Sales Director

Michael Bourke of Adelaide, Australia, has been promoted to Topcon Precision Agriculture (TPA) sales director for North and South America, the Asia-Pacific region and South Africa. In his new position, Bourke will report to Albert Zahalka, TPA president.

Zahalka said, “It gives me great pleasure to make this announcement. Michael has more than a decade of service with our company and has the experience and drive to assist TPA in hitting its short-term and long-term goals.”

Bourke joined the company in 2002 as manager of sales, service and warehouse. Other positions he has held include operations and production manager, OEM manager, and global OEM manager, and international business development manager.

Bourke said, “My past experience within the agriculture industry and in Topcon Precision Agriculture, has created this opportunity, and I am looking forward to my new responsibilities and focusing on the growth potential that exists for TPA.”

Zahalka said, “I am confident in our future growth prospects under his guidance.” Bourke and his family will relocate to Topcon headquarters in Livermore, Calif.
