Deere Updates Outlook for 2011 Farm Cash Receipts, Crop Prices

Last week, Deere & Co. released its fourth quarter earnings report, which showed the farm equipment maker increased it sales by 33% compared with the same period last year.

The company also updated its projections for U.S. farm cash receipts and crop pricing for 2011. Following is Deere’s most recent outlook as well as that of the USDA.
