New Name for Product Company
DES MOINES, Iowa, January 23, 2012 — Concentric International is the new name, brand, and corporate identity for the international company formerly known as Iowa Export-Import (Global Solutions) headquartered in Des Moines, Iowa. A member of the Ruan family of companies, Concentric International is an established international provider of specialized products for markets throughout the world.
David Winkels, Senior Vice President, in announcing the name change, says the updated corporate identity reflects their mode of doing business for the company started more than 25 years ago, “Our clients, domestic and international, want complete solutions to their product and business needs and they appreciate our consultative and comprehensive approach to supplying their needs. Our new name reflects that presence and connectivity – it’s who we are”.
Concentric International, according to Winkels, is now strongly focused on the process of creating products and placing those products in defined product channels. The company offers innovative custom products to both aftermarket and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in four distinct groups:
- Seat Solutions – agricultural construction, industrial and lawn and garden/utility seats.
- Rubber Solutions – rubber mounted steel teeth for bailing equipment, forage harvesting equipment and specialty products.
- Electrical and Control Solutions – linear actuators, remote systems, high current relays.
- Power Transmission Solutions – shaft couplers and collars, pulleys, sheaves, sprockets, hubs, roller chain, and keyed shafts for mechanical power transmission.
Winkels, who led the company’s re-branding effort, emphasized the quality of products and services required in today’s global market, “Our clients are looking for the efficiencies an international supplier provides – they expect economies and high quality – and Concentric International is well-positioned to provide both excellent products and premier customer service across all product lines”.
