Lexion 590R Combine Captures Top Honors in Iron Solutions’ Highest Residual Value Awards

OMAHA, Neb. — The LEXION 590R combine received the first-ever IRON Solutions Official Guide Highest Residual Value Award in recognition of having the highest value retention in the class 9 combine category.

Offering a full range of combines harvesters in class 6, 7 and 8; LEXION changed the industry leading with the first class 9 machines.

Lexion President Russ Green accepted the award at the 2009 Farm Progress show from IRON Solutions Inc., North America’s largest compiler of actual transactional sales data for agricultural equipment.

The Official Guide Highest Residual Value Awards are based on unbiased analysis of more than four hundred 2006 model-year machines with the highest residual value in the market after three years of service when compared to the original selling price.

Residual value is a key indicator of both the ag equipment owner’s perception of quality for an individual model and the overall strength and vitality of the manufacturer and distribution channel.

The honors were bestowed on models in seven classes of tractors and five classes of combines. Bob Armstrong, Product Marketing Manager stated, “The LEXION 590R has offered unmatched capacity and performance since it was introduced in 2004. We are honored to have received this award from IRON Solutions that showcases the lasting quality that goes into every CLAAS machine.”

The awards are based on nearly $4 billion in annual equipment sales transactions that are provided to IRON Solutions through independent sources including end-users, dealers, manufacturers, auctions and finance companies.

Values are based on highly detailed sales transaction data, which includes equipment options, machine condition, model year and other important attributes. This extensive collection of data is processed, researched and reviewed by an expert team of analysts to provide an accurate account of equipment values.
