John Deere India Introduces Two New Tractor Models

 BANGALORE: India's leading tractor manufacturer John Deere India on Friday announced introduction of two new tractor models in the country. 

"Introduction of these two new models, marks the entry of John Deere into the lower horsepower (HP) market segment in the Indian tractor industry, which constitutes approximately 40% of the total tractor market," John Deere India director-sales and marketing Ravi Menon told reporters in Bangalore. 

The 35-HP tractor model 5036C and 41-HP tractor model 5041C are powered by a fuel-efficient, three-cylinder John Deere diesel engine and equipped with power steering, oil- immersed disc brakes, side shift gears, mobile charging point, neutral start switch on drive gear and other user-friendly features, he said. 

"John Deere is committed to bring advance technology to farmers in India that helps them to be more productive and cost-effective," Menon said. 

John Deere India has 19 regional offices and over 380 authorized dealers, with over 200 component manufactures as authorized suppliers. 

The company exports tractors from India to 68 countries. John Deere has also established a technology and engineering center in Pune, employing about 1,200 professionals to support the activities of John Deere worldwide in product design, engineering and information technology.
