GRAVES COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - A former local John Deere Dealership employee is charged with 44 counts of felony theft.
Graves County officers found 60-year-old Frank Moseley of Martin, Tennessee took home $235,000 throughout 2008 and 2009 from Hutson, Inc. in Mayfield.
Moseley faces 31 counts of theft by deception over $500 Class D felony, six counts of theft by unlawful taking over $500 Class D felony, three counts of criminal possession of forged instrument 2nd degree Class D felony, two counts of theft by unlawful taking over $10,000 Class C felony, one count of theft by deception over $10,000 Class C felony, one count of receiving stolen property over $500 Class D felony.
Investigators say Moseley edited purchase orders and gave customers a different copy of that purchase order than the ones he turned into Hutson's management.
The total amount of equipment that these cases involved is about $1,000,000.
Moseley was an employee at that John Deere implement for 13 years.
Police say Moseley could face more charges. Investigators have only looked into about 30 percent of the transactions that Moseley was involved in, according to the Graves County Sheriff's Office. The FBI is now involved in the investigation.
