Empire Southwest to Acquire Arizona Production Machinery & Supply

April 9, 2010 — Mesa-based Empire Southwest has agreed to acquire assets of Arizona Production Machinery & Supply in Casa Grande, an agriculture machinery dealer. The acquisition will expand Empire’s current product line of Caterpillar and Challenger machines to include agricultural machines from AGCO, Claas and Massey Ferguson, which now includes Hesston.

APM&S owner Tim Robinson will become the general manager of Empire’s Agricultural division.

The transaction is scheduled to close in May. As a result, Empire add stores in Casa Grande and Blythe, Calif.
