Considering the brief "career life expectancy" among top management at New Holland, they probably didn't have a choice, they had to bring in someone from Italy. No one in his right mind would take the job!
IF sales are soft in the US for New Holland Why bring in Fiat people from Europe that do not understand the American Farmer? Hire a person that can communicate with their dealer body and understands sales to the end user.
This is about the seventh exec in the past 6 years for New Holland. Makes you wonder what's really going on, doesn't it? The lack of consistent leadership is more than a little disheartening for New Holland's dealers.
Seems while they like all the products on the New Holland side, The CNH senior management keeps thinking the New Holland Division is a threat to them instead of a partner!!!
Seems as if New Holland division on CNH can't keep top management in place long enough to turn the company around!
