ARMSTRONG, Iowa, April 12 — Art's Way Manufacturing Co. Inc. (Nasdaq: ARTW), a leading manufacturer and distributor of agricultural machinery, equipment and services announces its first quarter financial results for the 3 months ended February 28, 2010.

Financial Highlights For the 3 Months Ended February 28, 2010:

– Net income for the quarter increased 858% over first quarter 2009.

– Operating income for the quarter increased 26.4% over first quarter 2009.

– Consolidated order backlog as of February 28, 2010 was $17,450,000 compared to $13,127,000 on February 28, 2009.
