RSS7 Arkansas & Missouri Deere Dealerships Merge to Form Legacy Equipment
Paragould, Ark. — May 5, 2010 — Seven family-owned John Deere dealerships in Northeast Arkansas and Southeast Missouri announced today that they have merged their operations to form Legacy Equipment, LLC.
The dealerships involved are:
In Arkansas:
Corning Implement Co. — Corning
Kirk Equipment Co. — Paragould
Piggott Tractor and Equipment Co. — Piggott
In Missouri:
Bazzell & Wilder Inc. — Kennett
W.M. Crysler Co. — Hayti, New Madrid, Portageville
Under the terms of the agreement, Legacy will combine assets, management and day-to-day operations for all locations.
“The management and stockholders of Legacy share the vision that as a unified company we can improve our ability to serve customers, increase our investment in facilities and training, and attract the most highly skilled staff”, said Kody Riggan, president and chief executive officer of Legacy Equipment.
When the consolidation is complete, Legacy will provide equipment, parts, and service to 3 counties in Northeast Arkansas and 6 counties in Southeast Missouri totaling over 1.5 million acres of production farm land.
