Alo Quicke QCC Loaders

ORLANDO, Fla. — Alo North America is displaying its Quicke QCC loaders this week at the AG CONNECT Expo in Orlando, Fla., and the company expects its first models to be available for the market this fall.

The QCC utility and compact loaders will be made at a Tennessee plant Alo acquired in 2009 from Bush Hog.

Alo's QCC utility loader range for 50-100 horsepower tractors will be released in the fall. The QCC compact loader for under-50-horsepower compact tractors will be released in 2011.

Alo unveiled the QCC loader at the SIMA show in Paris nearly a year ago. Aimed at the North American market, the QCC is the first in a new range of curved boom loaders designed for tractors between 15-100 horsepower.

The new line will likely have 8 models and includes "new features designed to improve productivity in this sector of the market," the company has said. "The design and performance of the QCC series is well suited to the semi-professional segment, the company's target market."

In a phone interview from AG CONNECT, Alo North America's Dan Wilson told Farm Equipment that the QCC's most unique feature is an available bolt-on self-leveling kit. "Dealers can stock a non-self leveling loader, and if a customer wants a self-leveling loader, they can order the kit and away they go," Wilson says.

The QCC loader was also on display at Agritechnica in Hanover, Germany, last November.

Finn Brannvall, area manager for Alo AB, told Farm Equipment at Agritechnica that the U.S. and Canada are two of the company’s biggest loader markets, and building a presence here is critical to the company’s success.

For more information on the loader, send an e-mail to Dan Wilson at dwilson@alo.ca.
