BOSTON, Ga. — Ag-Pro has now acquired Spartanburg, S.C.-based Wilson Equipment Co. This addition is Ag-Pro's 60th John Deere dealership across 5 states. The Spartanburg, S.C. location is in the rapidly growing Greenville, S.C., metropolitan area and serves a diverse customer base.

Headquartered in Boston, Ga., Ag-Pro says it is the largest privately held John Deere dealer in the U.S. with locations across Alabama (7), Florida (9), Georgia (20), South Carolina (now 4), and Texas (20). Ag-Pro employs 1,250 employees across its 60 dealership locations with annual sales of over $800 million.

Family-owned and operated, Wilson Equipment Co. was established in 1949. It supplies agricultural and outdoor power equipment and is an authorized dealer for John Deere. Ag-Pro CEO James Groover said, “We welcome this addition to our company and look forward to enhance our service to the residents of South Carolina.”

With this most recent acquisition, Ag-Pro can continue to live its motto, “Strong on Service,” and provide even more value to its customers. Ag-Pro’s huge dealer base means stronger purchasing power enabling it to offer better prices, quicker service, and more convenience.
