United Kingdom-based investment firm Green Park Partners (GPP) has acquired what was left of Kongskilde after CHN Industrial acquired its tillage and hay tools, as well as its forage feeders last year.

GPP says it acquired the Danish company, which manufacturers grain handling machinery, for several reasons. For starters, Kongskilde is profitable with potential for more growth and development, says GPP. Kongskilde also offers a range of grain handling machinery products with a strong customer base, operates in the attractive market of materials handling, has a strong management team and has a loyal customer base.

“Kongskilde is a market leader with excellent potential for further growth. This is an exciting opportunity and we look forward to supporting the management team in achieving this potential,” says Hiten Shah, partner at GPP.

This comes after CNH Industrial acquired Kongskilde’s product, brand and manufacturing assets. The company’s grain handling and industrial conveying divisions were not included in that deal. Then in late 2017, the Brandt Group announced it was acquiring Kongskilde’s U.S. manufacturing plant and equipment. The 200,000 square-foot facility is located in Bloomington, Ill.
