According to a report from KWQC, John Deere Seeding in Moline, Ill., is indefinitely laying off 160 employees who had already been temporarily laid off for an inventory adjustment shutdown. A spokesperson for the company says Deere continues to adjust the size of their manufacturing workforce in response to market demand for products.

In its second quarter earnings report in May, Deere said it expected equipment sales to decrease by 19% in fiscal 2015 and expects a 24% drop for ag and turf equipment sales.
